It works at both higher and lower resolutions. I am using an Arista AP-3200 thin client. I have already updated the firmware but the issue persists. \u00a0How can I fix this?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0First, try testing ti at different refresh rates. \u00a0If you&#8217;re currently using 1920&#215;1080 at 60Hz, try 65, 70, etc.<\/p>\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t work, you can try the Custom Video Mode Module. Add it to the terminal that is having issues and click configure. Change the video mode type to one of the ATSC-1080-xx or Extended Widescreen modes.<\/p>\n<p>-TM<\/p>\n<p>__________________<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Q-<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0What is the correct procedure for backing up and subsequently restoring the configuration of ThinManager?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0To schedule backups see\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinmanager.com\/technotes\/07_Features\/ScheduleConfigurationBackups.pdf\">http:\/\/www.thinmanager.com\/technotes\/07_Features\/ScheduleConfigurationBackups.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To manually backup:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1) Highlight the green ThinMan icon in the ThinManager tree.<\/div>\n<div>2) Select &#8220;Manage&gt;Backup Configuration&#8221;<\/div>\n<div>3) Browse to a directory, name the backup file (or leave default) and select &#8220;Save&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To Restore<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>1) Highlight the green ThinMan icon in the ThinManager tree.<\/div>\n<div>2) Select &#8220;Manage&gt;Restore Configuration&#8221;<\/div>\n<div>3) Browse to the directory with thew saved backup file and select &#8220;OK&#8221;.<br \/>\n(A green square in the lower right hand of ThinManager means that the ThinServer is working (loading the configuration) and you can&#8217;t input into ThinManager until it is done and the light turns off.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-TM<\/p>\n<p>__________________<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Q-<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0After deploying ThinManger 3.0 years ago and upgrading multiple times to current version 5.0,,\u00a0we have numerous entries and memory allocations on the add \/ remove programs screen. \u00a0Is this normal?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0This is normal if you have upgraded from an older version of ThinManager to a new one. The listings for ThinManager without an icon are the Service Packs from the previous versions.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>-TM<\/p>\n<p>__________________<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Q-<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0\u00a0If I have ThinManager v6.0 and a WinTMC client, can VNC software still co-exist on the same client PC?<\/em><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>A \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0VNC uses 5900, as does our shadowing. It can lead to conflicts if you try to do both so we let you change our shadow port.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In ThinManager 6 (and TM4) open the ThinManager Server Configuration Wizard by double clicking on the green ThinMan icon at the top of the tree and navigate to the Shadow Configuration page. It should be the last page.
