If you need different display clients to use different credentials, you may specify an override:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Right click Terminal &gt; Modify &gt; Next x4 (Display Client Selection) &gt; Select a Display client from the right pane &gt; Override<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>-TM \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Which Windows Operating systems does the latest version of WinTMC run under?\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Will WinTMC run in a Windows Server 2000 or 2003 environment?\u00a0 We thought about deploying our old\u00a0SCADA\u00a0server computers as WinTMC clients, but they&#8217;re running Server 2000 and Server 2003.\u00a0 We tried to install WinTMC on both those computers, but the installation failed and I received the following error message: &#8220;not a valid Win32 application.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>That error usually comes about when trying to run a 64 bit application on a 32 bit processor\/OS. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"WinTMC\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thinmanager.com\/products\/wintmc.php\" target=\"_blank\">WinTMC<\/a> is a 32 bit application and should work on both Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 (x32). You can download the most recent version of WinTMC here:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/downloads.thinmanager.com\/Files\/WinTMCInstall.zip\">http:\/\/downloads.thinmanager.com\/Files\/WinTMCInstall.zip<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>-TM \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>I need to know if it is necessary to connect my thin clients to a backup power source?\u00a0 Could I loose my session or data if the thin client I am working from loses power?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Power Backups are not normally used with thin clients, just the servers.\u00a0\u00a0The session that an operator is looking at is on the server and not the thin client. If the thin client loses power it will disconnect from the server session.\u00a0The session will remain in an idle state on the server.
