We recently added an EloGraphics E719160 touchscreen to our ThinManager system and are having an issue. \u00a0The unit responds to touches, but does not respond to the calibration utility? \u00a0Will ThinManager work with this touchscreen client?<\/em>

When using a USB touchscreen device, you need to unplug any other USB devices that might be plugged in. After successfully calibrating the unit, you can then plug your other USB devices into the unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am currently designing a system in which we\u2019re planning on using ACP ThinManager with three operator thin clients in a Control Room. \u00a0<\/em>Since environmental factors wont be a concern, can we use commercial grade HP thin clients with Windows 7 Embedded? \u00a0<\/em>\u00a0Are these devices compatible with ThinManager?<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/em>An HP box may work with ThinManager if we support the chipsets.\u00a0http:\/\/www.thinmanager.com\/kb\/index.php\/ThinManager_Supported_Hardware<\/a>\u00a0is a list of hardware we have tested.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It doesn’t matter what their embedded OS is. They will need to be set to PXE Boot\/Boot from LAN. They will then download the ThinManager firmware and run the ThinManager OS in RAM.<\/strong><\/div>\n

We are currently running multiple ThinManager servers at our facility and your product works great! \u00a0I<\/em>\u00a0do, however, have a question…<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We have two pairs of ThinManager controlling\u00a0multiple\u00a0thin clients and each pair consists of a primary and backup. \u00a0<\/em>I would like to merge all of the managed clients on to a single pair, with thin clients running on both. <\/em>How do I copy the \u201cgroup settings\u201d from the one pair to the other?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you want to \u2018merge\u2019 two existing ThinManager Installations, you will have to go in and manually add the thin clients on the server. There is no method to append your existing ThinManager Installation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When using the VMware VCenter function within ThinManager a display client can connect to a Virtual Machine, is it possible to use a thin client connected to a virtual machine running Windows NT?<\/em><\/p>\n
