Alpharetta, GA — ACP (Automation Control Products), a world leader in industrial software, announces the Thindustrial13 Thin Client Management and Industrial Visualization Conference to be held at the Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel September 10-12, 2013.
ACP will be introducing the soon to be released ThinManager Platform 7, which will debut a new user interface, as well as updates to its popular mobile applications, ThinManager Mobile and ThinManager iTMC. ACP continues to build on its 14 years of industrial software development by broadening the functionality of its applications to further enhance mobile management and the overall mobile operator experience. Attendees will experience hands-on demonstrations that will show users how to extend the abilities of Apple iOS and Android OS mobile tablets.
These mobile updates will take even further advantage of ACP’s Relevant Information Delivery System (RIDS) technology. The RIDS allows modern manufacturers to organize applications, data, and users in a whole new way. That information can then be delivered to users based on login credentials, location, or specific events, which will allow operators to react and solve problems from virtually anywhere.
“These new mobile features will change the factory floor as we know it,” stated Tim Caine, Chief Technical Officer at ACP. “Attendees will see mobile management abilities that go far beyond just delivering an application to a mobile device.”
This event is designed for anyone seeking a realistic path to the plant floor of tomorrow. Plant floor engineers, IT specialists, end users, and system integrators will participate in hands-on demonstrations to learn how these new technologies can be easily implemented into any process they currently manage or are planning to deploy in the future. Registrants can also attend presentations from a wide range of industry leaders who will share their history of successful industrial thin client deployments, including modernizing control rooms and implementing mobile device management (MDM).
