ACP releases ThinManager version 6.0 at Atlanta event April 16-18, 2012

Alpharetta, Georgia – February 6, 2012

ACP (Automation Control Products) will be releasing its new ThinManager 6.0 thin client and terminal services management platform in April. This will be ACP’s third software release in the last 13 months and will continue to build on ACP’s centralized management solutions for the modern factory by simplifying management of applications and visual resources. This release has several new features including iTMC, which allows any Apple iPad to run as a thin client, as well as worldwide remote access capability and improved support for a wide range of hardware.

The “ThinManager 6 Launch & Training” event (April 16th – 18th) will cover a multitude of different discussion groups, vendors, and vertical application presentations. In addition, there will be hands-on training for up to 120 attendees allowing them an opportunity to use ThinManager with a dual-monitor thin client and terminal server laptop. Trainees will also receive their updated ThinManager Training Certification. Training slots are available on a first- come, first-served basis so early registration is encouraged. Registration is at http://www.thinmanager.com/events.

“This is a very exciting time for us as we see more adoption of ThinManager in the industrial market. Our goal for the ThinManager 6 launch is to continue to fuel the momentum we have been able to generate over the last year”, says Tom Jordan, V.P. of Marketing at ACP.

This flexible platform can be configured through a variety of innovative options for any terminal server network, without the difficulty of managing multiple network configurations. ThinManager 6 also offers support for virtual machine management, IP cameras, multiple monitors, and mobile management via their improved iOS app for the iPhone and iPad.
